The Festival of Wreaths is our creative and charitable annually hosted fundraiser. Participants, including businesses, senior care communities, and individuals from the Atlanta/Tampa Bay areas, craft festive wreaths filled with goodies. These wreaths are then auctioned online, with all proceeds supporting DSF’s initiatives, such as educational programs and support groups for those impacted by dementia.
This event promotes friendly competition, with categories for different participants, and offers awards for popular vote and highest bids. It’s a heartwarming way to bring joy during the holidays while making a meaningful impact on dementia-related initiatives. Join us in spreading warmth, hope, and support to those in need.

Everyone in the Atlanta/Tampa Bay metro areas are welcome to participate! We have categories for businesses, senior care communities, and the general public. It’s a community-wide celebration of creativity and compassion.
The registration deadline is November 18th, 2023, at 11:55 pm EST. Don’t wait; register now to be part of this heartwarming event.
There is a registration fee of $35, which helps cover event costs and support our initiatives. The majority of the funds raised go directly to our community programs.
All proceeds from the auction go toward DSF’s community initiatives, including educational programs, Connection Cafes, and support groups dedicated to those impacted by Dementia/Alzheimer’s.
Absolutely! You can submit multiple wreaths if you wish. Each wreath adds to the festive spirit and supports our cause. So the more the merrier!
Please refer to the contestant guide for full details. For example, we encourage participants to use safe and non-perishable materials for their wreaths, as they will be displayed and auctioned online.
In your wreath description you should include its theme, the message it conveys, and any special elements or materials used. Make it unique and captivating to attract bidders.
If you are a business or organization, please include a brief description of your business/organization as well as the link to your website.
Unfortunately, once your wreath entry is submitted, you won’t be able to make changes. Please double-check your details before submitting.
The virtual silent auction will be held on our online platform, and bidding will begin on November 20th. The auction will run from November 20th to December 8th, and winners will be announced on December 15th.
All wreaths should be displayed onsite at the contestant’s location, and will be picked up by the winning bidder at your specified location.
We’ve got you covered every step of the way! In addition to providing a social media kit complete with tips, guidelines, and templates to make promoting your wreath a breeze, we’ll also give you a participation badge that you can proudly share on your website and/or social media. So, let’s spread the word together! Share your wreath’s page on social media, send out engaging email updates, and encourage your network to visit the event’s website and place bids. Remember, the more exposure, the better!
