What is
Giving Tuesday

After the whirlwind of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, Giving Tuesday invites us to pause and embrace the spirit of generosity. Celebrated every year on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, this global movement—launched in 2012—empowers people everywhere to make a difference through acts of kindness, charitable donations, and advocacy. It’s a powerful reminder that together, we can create meaningful change in our communities and beyond.

This year, Giving Tuesday lands on December 3, 2024. Let’s come together to inspire hope, uplift others, and make generosity a force for good!

Why Support the
Dementia Spotlight Foundation
This Giving Tuesday?

Dementia affects over 55 million people worldwide, casting a shadow over individuals and their families. Despite ongoing research for a cure, there’s a critical gap in funding, education, and resources for those currently living with dementia. That’s where the Dementia Spotlight Foundation steps in.

Your Support Makes a Tangible Difference

  • Empowerment Through Education: We provide essential training for family and professional caregivers, equipping them with the skills to offer compassionate care.
  • Community Connection: Our programs like Connection Cafés and Care Partner Support Groups offer safe spaces for socialization and mutual support.
  • Advocacy and Awareness: We’re changing perceptions about dementia, focusing on life before loss, and advocating for the rights of those living with dementia.
